We hired Stan to do the NC500 in August and had an amazing trip! Beforehand, James was very responsive to our messages, which was really reassuring. The handover went smoothly—James was very welcoming, gave us a full tour of Stan and answered all of our questions. We had the most fantastic week in Stan, touring the North Coast 500 for five days. James is a professional and very responsive hirer, located a short taxi ride from Inverness/Inverness airport. Stan was perfectly equipped with everything we needed for our 5 day tour of the Highlands, as well as being a smooth drive and perfectly comfortable for sleeping in. The Highlands were a fantastic experience and we look forward to returning to explore more of the country, our first port of call will be James’ fleet!!

From the start I had good communication with James which I always appreciate, on arrival James gave us a good tour around the van and explained how everything works, he had a mixture of goods in the cupboard for us too, the bedding was of good quality and kept us cosy. Unfortunately we had to cut our holiday short but James kindly stayed in on a gorgeous day for us to arrive back with the van. I would definitely recommend James as a host and Stan the van for anyone wanting to be on the move in our beautiful Scotland 🏴

Just returned from a fantastic week exploring the Nc500 with Stan the van! James was fantastic from start to end, great communication and a friendly welcome. His son Tom was also brilliant during collection, providing us with all the information we needed. The van itself was perfect - full equipped with everything we needed (utensils, crockery, clothes, tea towel, bin bags, spare toilet roll etc.). Can’t fault it. We had a great trip around the NC500. I can't imagine a better host than James. He was very helpful, offering advice and flexibility with respect to pick-up and drop-off times. The camper was not brand new but well maintained. We noticed a slight mechanical issue soon after leaving in the van but it was dealt with quickly so we could get on our way. We will book again in the future.

This was our first time using GoBoony and a campervan. James's communication was perfect, quick and answered all our queries putting out mind at ease. The handover was great too. James was polite, friendly and explained everything clearly. 'Stan' the VW campervan was great too, easy to drive, well equipped and we only used 1/2 tank fuel over the 400 miles we drove doing part of the NC500.

We had an absolutely incredible time doing the NC500 with Stan - we fell in love with him within minutes£ He was fully equipped with everything we needed for our trip and pick up was just outside Inverness in a great location. Stan was comfortable for long journeys and well equipped for over night stays. The hire comes with everything you need for a NC500 journey and is great for stopping off anywhere you like for lunch or for the night. James was responsive, helpful and accommodating from the start.

Had a fantastic trip up in Scotland exploring the North Coast 500 route. Just out of season which made the roads a lot more pleasant to travel on. The camper (Stan) ticked every box needed for the trip, comfortable, reliable & cosy. We cannot rave about James and Stan the van enough! James was easily contactable and answered any questions we had from the get go. He was incredibly accommodating where possible with any requests that we had. James called us when Stan was ready and even collected us from the station so we could go through Stan and the paperwork together. The helpfulness didn’t stop there - any questions we had whilst on the road were quickly answered if we couldn’t work it out for ourselves. Stan the van was very comfortable for the 2 of us and easy to use. Lots of storage options and amenities with plates, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. and James provided some bedding too (pillows/sheets/duvets) so we just had to bring ourselves and clothes. Thank you Stan and James for our wonderful trip around Scotland!

Had a fantastic winter trip with a number of adventures. James is a great providing detailed timely information from the start. Very friendly and helpful responding quickly to all communications. The van was great provided everything I needed being very clean and well maintained. The gas heater was a great in the -5-10 degree temperatures. James also fitted winter tyres and provided a shovel which were essential driving in the snow. This was my first time hiring such a van and all in all was a great experience. Would recommend 'Stan' without any hesitation and will be back in the spring.

Absolutely phenomenal trip to Skye in Stan! Loved every minute. The van was perfect and clean, with all we needed. Great to drive and clearly well maintained, we would 10000% recommend! If I could think of anything, a topper for the bed would have been a real added bonus. Please note that from Inverness airport a £30 taxi is required, we tried the bus but no such luck. Either way fantastic and James was a great person to deal with from start to finish. Very happy campervan-ers!

When our original booking with another Goboony provider fell through at the last moment due to unforeseen circumstances on their side, James & Stan stepped gallantly into the breach. Our 11 year-old & dog slept blissfully in the upstairs section while my husband & I were very comfortable down below once we’d ironed out one snag. This being that sleeping directly on the reclining leather seating proved too hard - luckily our son was happy to let us use his mattress topper. We recommended that James provide a topper for upstairs & downstairs & he said he’d action that. Otherwise, perfection! We’ll definitely be back!
